Showing help on '@ntfy'
ntfy setup and the optional feature@ntfy is supplied by feature #4214, currently named Notify Me.
@add-feature #4214 installs the feature and displays setup guidance.
@ntfy shows your personal ntfy subscription URL, or initializes setup.
Subscribe to the displayed topic in the ntfy app or at ntfy.sh.
Keep your personal topic URL private.
Receiving ntfy alerts also requires a player option:
@player-options +notify_me or @player-options +offline_page.
Either option creates or reuses the topic and makes ntfy available.
You can set up ntfy through these options without installing the feature.
Use BOTH @player-options -notify_me and @player-options -offline_page
to make ntfy unavailable. Other delivery methods can remain active.
@notify off disables all routed notification alerts.
@notify and @notifications always show the shared notification status.
Use their subcommands for delivery controls; see help notifications.
The feature currently retains a legacy @ntfy <player> <message> command.
Its recipient must be enrolled in the feature, and the first argument
is parsed as one command word. Routed delivery preferences still apply.
For ordinary contact, use page <player> <message>; pages use the router
without requiring the recipient to install this feature.
Old setup text about changing .notify is stale for routed delivery.
Use the @notify and @player-options controls described above.
Removing the feature removes its commands but does not turn off
your shared delivery preferences.
