After the backup scalar edit compiled, backend429 interrupted its readback. Root verified the actual original character and process births, exact current target, full native buffer equality with saved code and zero unsaved changes. Added and read the credential-silent pidfd retirement helper; it signalled only the authenticated original launcher. Both original processes are absent and native editor memberships are zero. Intermittent API server errors and truncated displays are explicitly unaccepted evidence; fresh saved-source review is still pending. Updated source/recovery coordination notes and append-only delivery log; this manifest and its confirmed receipt cover that work. No source was replayed, no foreign process stopped and no fixture/data operation occurred.
